Bait and Boat Festival

On September 6th (raindate September 7th) the Friends of High Point State Park are sponsoring a "Bait and Boat Festival." Join us for a day when non-motorized boats will be permitted on Lake Marcia. Most events will take place at the beach. Bring your fishing gear (a NJ fishing license is required if you are over the age of 15), canoes, kayaks, and rowboats, and join us! Also, pack a picnic for the afternoon or visit the concession stand by the beach.

  • Lake Walks - 11 a.m. and 3 pm
  • Boat Races - 1 and 2 pm
  • BYOPicnic - 4 to 6 pm

  • Campfire Stories - 7 pm
